I already play those 3 games more than 500 hours each one. I enjoy it a lot!
Even in the release of no mans sky I was probably the only one among my friends that never stopped playing and recommending it. After a long time I love how many of my friends actually bought the game and love it. Then I discovered Star Citizen, maybe because of NMS, but As like someone mention here in comments, I do also think Star Citizen will be far superior in terms of realism and space simulator
what really impressed me about Star Citizen even years back is how they are still implementing basics and many mechanics are just placeholders but it already got a lot more depth to it than so many other games.

I gotta be honest, your passion toward each game make me want to buy all three.
I feel like I'm gonna bust a nut on at least one or them.
I'm looking for a Subnautica, Satisfactory hybrid to pass 2022 time.
I have all three, I've played Elite in VR since 2015, once VR was implemented into NMS I jumped right in. NMS is a nice game but it was simply too unrealistic, asteroids around every planet, life on every planet regardless of the the extreme environment, space is 2d "planets are only on one side of the star" and its very grindy, this is what is killing Elite, having to grind for everything you do other than for sure seeing and mining, the galaxy is enormous and there mostly nothing out there, then there was the disappointment with Odyssey. This is what got me to try Star Citizen, only one system, bugs, crashes and it's still be far the best space sim I've played and this is without VR which is saying a lot considering VR is a day and night difference of immersion.
I think no man's sky needs an update where you could visit huge cities. It would make the game even better.
Didn't Star citizen get the memo? The 8th time you walk into your own ship and see it's realistic and immersive interior is going to get really boring…..
If you want to play NMS expecting it to be, standard, a fun interactive MMO, let me warn you. If you play the "normal" way, the chances of you meeting another player are almost 0. I wouldn't get NMS without being ok playing solo for 99% of the time. You can get it just to play multiplayer, but the solo survival is where it's at.
"I might recommended you hold off on buying elite dangerous Odyssey dlc untill the consoles release". Didn't age well huh lol. Sad I'll never get to play Odyssey, hearing the news about the cancellation of console development was like finding out your wife was cheating on you.
